At BerneCrest, we are committed to providing not only exceptional puppies, but also a thoughtful and transparent experience for every family. From your first inquiry to the day your puppy comes home, our process is designed to ensure the best possible match and a smooth, enjoyable journey.

1. Application

We begin with an application to learn more about you, your lifestyle, and what you are looking for in a puppy. This allows us to better understand your preferences and ensure that our puppies are placed in homes where they will thrive. Our goal is not just to place puppies—but to create lasting, successful matches between our dogs and their families.

2. Reservation & Deposit

Once your application is approved, you may reserve a spot on our reservation list. This secures your place in an upcoming litter or specific pairing.

Reservations are accepted in the order reservation fees are received, and families are notified as litters are confirmed.

3. Litter Announcements & Updates

When a litter is born, families on our reservation list will be notified. We provide updates along the way so you can follow your puppy’s early development. We believe this is a special time, and we love sharing these early moments with our BerneCrest families.

4. Puppy Selection

Selections are made in reservation order, and we are always available to guide you based on temperament, personality, and your individual preferences. Our goal is to ensure each puppy is matched with the right home.

5. Preparation & Care

Before going home, each puppy receives:

• Age-appropriate vaccinations
• Routine deworming
• A full health check by a licensed veterinarian

Puppies are raised in a loving, hands-on environment with early socialization to help them transition smoothly into their new homes.

6. Go-Home Day

Puppies are ready to go home at approximately 8 weeks of age.

Each BerneCrest puppy goes home with:

• Health records
• Registration paperwork, if applicable
• 30 days free health insurance included
• Starter items to ease the transition
• Ongoing support from us

We are always here as a resource for our families—before and after your puppy comes home.
